About Our Church-School:

Keely (Hutsko) Miller is our Coordinator, with help from Sherry Magill and Carol Buck, who serve as our Youth Group Advisors

Sherry can be reached at magill4967@comcast.net and Keely can be reached at 1-724-561-7709.

Our September began with the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 with a beautiful, solemn Memorial Service in the Parking Lot by the Flag-pole on September 11th - check out the pictures above!

This year, we have changed our Church-school Program, adapting the "HUGS" Program (Hands United In God's Service), combining both educational lessons with on-hands activities within our Church life to help our children actively live ot Orthodox Christian Stewardship!

Come and see this exciting format at work:  each Month on our Liturgical Calendar will highlight specific themes for the classes; for example, in September, we will highlight the

Proskomedia Service before the Divine Liturgy (Fr. Stevo's lesson in Church is a link you can access...visit:  www.dropbox.com/s/65ipdieno4ktt6v/Video%20Sep%2021%2C%209%2029%2020%20AM.mov?dl=0 ), as well as the Feast of the Exaltation of our Lord.

Our Church School  and Junior SOTAYA group are encouraged to work our FISH FRYS on Fridays during Lent, from 12 to 6 PM!  This helps our Sisterhood in providing financial assistance for the cost of attending the National Youth Conference to be held in San Francisco June 21st through the 25th, 2017.

Our Church-school classes have been moved back a little - with the start-up time of 9:30AM until 10:15 AM, so that all children are upstairs in time for the Epistle and Gospel Readings for the day!

UPCOMING:  Beginning of the Church-school Class Year - Sunday, September 18th - with Prayers at 9:10 AM, followed by the Matins Service, then the Holy Liturgy at 10 AM!

Orthodox Christian Bible Studies  Multimedia Bible Studies for Orthodox Christian Teens and Adults

Orthodox Christian Bible Studies provides free multimedia resources that are formed—and informed—by the Holy Tradition of the Orthodox Church. With our Bible studies you can plunge into a book of the New Testament, looking at the biblical text and its historical background, and learning how the biblical truths you learn can transform your life. Each Bible study also includes full-color handouts you can download to use in your church study group (or even on your own).
Are you looking for an MP3 Bible study for listening on-the-go? Then subscribe to GET WISDOM, our weekly Bible study podcast. Or maybe you want a program that focuses directly on issues with which you deal in life—then you'll want to listen to re/CALL, our weekly life-application podcast.
