Pascha 2020
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Hristos Vaskrese! Vaistinu Vaskrese! Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
As you know, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the majority of us celebrated Pascha from our homes, rather than physically here in the Church. However, we (the Faithful) were not separated this year - rather we were still together in prayer celebrating Christ’s victory over death! Thus, we all proudly sing the Paschal Troparion, “Christ is Risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life!”
Knowing that this pandemic will end in the future (of course, only God knows when…), Fr. Stevo and the St. Sava Parish Council have agreed upon having the biggest, most joyful, Paschal Liturgical Celebration on the closest Sunday to the end date, along with our famous Paschal AGAPE meal and Paschal Baskets! We hope all of you can join us on that date!
