Raising Our Voices: 125th Anniversary Year Kickoff Concert

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, we experienced a truly remarkable day as we officially kicked off our 125th-anniversary year with a breathtakingly beautiful choir concert. Our Church Hall was filled with joyous harmony and a profound sense of history as we celebrated the rich traditions and the generations of faithful who have sustained our community over the past century and a quarter. A very special thank you goes out to Nicholas Medich, Choir Director of St. Sava McKeesport. His unwavering dedication, musical vision, and tireless hours of preparation were the driving forces that brought this spectacular event to life.

We were deeply honored to share this historic milestone with the talented choirs of our neighboring regional parishes: St. Elijah (Aliquippa), Holy Trinity Cathedral (Pittsburgh), and St. Nicholas (Monroeville). Hearing so many beautiful voices blend together in fellowship was a moving testament to the strength and unity of our broader community. Finally, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, as well as to the wonderful volunteers who worked behind the scenes to host our guests and organize the festivities. Your presence and hard work not only made the day a resounding success but also set a wonderful, uplifting tone for the rest of our anniversary celebrations this year.
