Holy Saturday - Conversions to Orthodoxy!

Today (April 11, 2026), on this Great and Holy Saturday - a day of profound anticipation and quiet reverence as we await the joyous Resurrection, our St. Sava family was deeply blessed to welcome four new "Warriors in Christ" into the Holy Orthodox Faith.

There is perhaps no more fitting time to be received into the Church than on the eve of Pascha, beautifully mirroring our passage from darkness into Christ’s marvelous light. Witnessing these individuals embrace the Orthodox faith and receive the Seal of the Gift of the Holy Spirit brought a profound sense of spiritual renewal to our entire parish. It is a wonderful testament to the growth of our church family and a deeply moving reminder to all of us of the transformative power of God's grace.

We pray that God grants the newly received, their devoted Kumovi (Godparents), and all their loved ones strength, peace, and many blessed years! May the Light of Christ, which now burns brightly within them, guide their steps always. Mnogaja Ljeta!
