Božić (Christmas) services of 2019 took place on Sunday, January 6, 2019 (Badnje veče or Christmas Eve) and the Holy Nativity of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ was Monday, January 7, 2019. Many people (both Serbian Orthodox and non-Orthodox) came to our parish to see the blessing of the Badnjak (Serbian Yule Log) on Christmas Eve followed by a Vigil Service and great fellowship. The Divine Liturgy for the Nativity was in the morning on January 7. We want to sincerely say THANK YOU as we are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to join us during this holy period. Please know you are always welcome at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. May God bless you all in 2019! Mir Bozji! Hristos Se Rodi! “Peace of God! Christ is Born!”
On Sunday, January 27, 2019, we celebrated our Church Slava of our Beloved Patron Saint Sava, Archbishop of Serbia and the Enlightener of our Serbian People! Following the Divine Liturgy, we had excellent fellowship and the Children did an amazing job during the Q&A session. We thank all who attended and those who volunteered to make this possible.
